Possession Game with 8 v 8 + 3 neutrals. The aim is to train the build-up by pushing players forward to the next zone to create superiorities.
Description
Possession game. In an area 20 x 55 play a 8 v 8 + 3 neutrals possession game. The players are located in their area. The team in possession can push players in the next zone either by dribbling or even without the ball to create numerical superiorities. The inside neutral player can move back and forward between the zones.
Rules:
- If the ball is transferred from one zone to the other zone = 1 point
- If the ball enters the third zone after transferring from Zone1 & Zone 2 without interception = 2 points
- Pass the ball to the opposite neutral = 3 points
- If the defenders recover the ball they should complete 3 passes and become the attackers. The coach will serve a ball to the neutral on their side

- Circulate the ball with patience
- Identify the right moment to push the player forward (must-have advantage)
- Quality in passing and receiving
- Good directional 1st touch (forward)
- How and when to properly move forward without the ball (offering passing option)
