Animated Drill: Positional Game 3 v 3 + 4 neutrals – Basic Attacking Principles

Description

Positional game with players holding their positions. The team in possession must always have two players on the sidelines and one player in the center.

Example next:

The blue team has the ball in its possession. The aim is to move the ball from one outside neutral to the opposite neutral  without losing the ball to score one point. The props are always with the team that has the ball. The goal of the red team is to recover the ball, pass to an outside neutral and immediately switch  positions to become the team in possession. The team losing the ball must quickly press to recover the ball back.

Progressions:

In order to make the game more realistic, and to force the defenders to defend properly and not to keep a low position as to prevent the transfer on the ball to the other side, count 1 point also for every 6 consecutive passes
